Statistics of the national domain zone for the 1st half of 2022

The technical administration of the national domain zone summed up the results of work for the 1st half of 2022 and presented the main statistics for review.

As of the end of the first half of 2022, 143,412 second–level domains were registered in the national domain zone, including 130,744 domains in the .by domain zone and 12,668 domains in the .бел domain zone.

During the period under review, 11,543 new second–level domains were registered, including 10,553 domains in the .by domain zone, 990 domains in the .бел domain zone; 15,196 second–level domains were excluded from the database, including 13,899 in the .by domain zone domains, in the domain zone ".бел" – 1,297 domains.

In the first 6 months of this year, the technical administrator of the national domain zone beCloud conducted 6 charity auctions of domain names, the results of which registered 241 domain names (237 domains in the zone ".by", 4 domain names in the zone ".бел") and 12 institutions (nursing homes, orphanages, educational orphanages) received financial assistance in the amount of more than 35,000 Belarusian rubles.
